About Andrew

Andrew Myers

I grew up in Denver, Colorado and attended Yale before dropping out at the beginning of my senior year to start RippleMatch. RippleMatch connected millions of users with job opportunities and raised $75M from investors like Goldman Sachs and Work-Bench. We were acquired by JobGet this year.

Across my founder journey, there were some amazing wins, but I also made all sorts of mistakes, put in plenty of long nights, and experienced real heartbreak along the way.

During my journey, I started advising other founders. That is where I discovered that the hardest parts of building a company — the loneliness, the self-doubt, the tug between competing responsibilities — are nearly universal regardless of industry or stage.

I also realized the windy, difficult path of building a startup is much better shared than navigated alone.

I live in Brooklyn, New York with my wife Paige (a therapist) and my dog Tuna (a big slobbery Great Dane).

I like to invest in ideas before they become companies. If you are building something cool, don't hesitate to reach out.
